There are two different settings in which teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) can be implemented: schools and youth-serving organizations. However, there are opportunities for youth-serving organizations to support the implementation of tMHFA in the school environment, especially in schools that currently lack the resources or capacity to support a tMHFA program. This presentation will explore how youth-serving organizations can successfully connect and partner with local schools, as well as increase schools’ readiness to implement tMHFA.
