At PreventEd, we lead the conversation on alcohol and other drugs. Our work prevents the harms of alcohol and other drug use through education, intervention and advocacy.

Recognizing the connection between substance use and mental health, PreventEd has been providing YMHFA trainings since 2012. In 2019, PreventEd was one of the first pilot sites to implement tMHFA as a youth-serving organization. By partnering with local schools, PreventEd has successfully implemented and expanded tMHFA to more than a dozen sites. Additionally, PreventEd supports those communities by offering YMHFA and MHFA opportunities.
