Based in Washington, DC, James Radack is one of Mental Health First Aid USA’s (MHFA) original National Trainers and local instructors, having served in this role since the program’s introduction to the United States in 2008. Over the subsequent 15 years, he has trained and certified thousands of MHFA instructors across the country on behalf of the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. As an independent instructor, James has worked with foreign embassy staff, international NGOs, universities, healthcare companies, and community-based organizations.
Prior to MHFA, James was a senior vice president for Mental Health America, at which he oversaw the organization’s communications and public education operations. In addition, he once served as a Mayoral Aide in the District of Columbia.
James is also a professional actor, and has appeared in plays, and on television, advertisements, training videos, and film.
