Christine Axford, MEd LPC

Christine Axford MEd LPC is the Chief Executive Officer for Berks Counseling Center, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic and PA Integrated Community Wellness Center. She has been employed at BCC since 1988 serving in many different capacities. As Chief Operating Officer, she led the agency’s integrated care efforts and BCC’s transition to the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic model of care. On January 1, 2019, she took on the role of CEO. Christine has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Economics and Business Administration from Ursinus College and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and continues to maintain licensure as Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. She has presented on both integrated care and the CCBHC model at local, state and national conferences. She also currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Alvernia University.
