Dusty Jepkema is a non-binary queer identified clinical social worker with Integrated Services of Kalamazoo. They currently work with young adults with severe mental illness helping them move toward overall wellness by addressing the young person’s mental health as well as building the skills needed to thrive in adulthood. They have 10+ years of experience working in the field of social work and specialize in working with LGBTQ+ clients. They previously worked with Native American communities, English Language Learners in public education, survivors of sexual assault, persons experiencing homelessness and adults with developmental disabilities. They are bilingual (Spanish) and very passionate about racial equity and equitable outcomes for those who exist within the intersections of marginalized identities.
