Carrie Slatton-Hodges, LPC, is the deputy commissioner for the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), and oversees statewide treatment services delivered through state-operated and contracted service providers. A licensed professional counselor, Carrie has served in the field of mental health for 25 years in a variety of clinical and administrative positions, both within ODMHSAS and the private sector. She has developed and implemented treatment programs and strategies to improve the behavioral health of Oklahomans including the use of behavioral health urgent care centers, comprehensive community addiction recovery centers (CCARC), a system of ambulatory detoxification services and an outcome-based payment system for community behavioral health centers (CMHC). She has a strong commitment to mental health and addiction recovery for Oklahomans, and believes in a valuable, productive life in the community for all.
