Melissa Bennett is currently the Care Management Healthcare Coordination Director with ACCESS Supports for Living Care Management and ESSHI programs. Melissa has 10+ years of nursing experience in a variety of nursing settings. Positions worked range from CNA to RN hands on cares, to Nursing Management. Melissa started as a Certified Nursing Assistant working in nursing homes with the geriatric population. Along the way Melissa has grown in education to receiving an Associates of Science in Nursing. Melissa is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Melissa has taken many education courses to better educate and support the community she works with such as: Narcan Trainer, Tobacco Cessation Facilitator, and COPD Educator. Melissa is always expanding her knowledge base to be able to help the community she works with become healthier and incorporate wellness into their lives. Melissa advocates strongly for her members/clients to receive the best possible care and outcomes. Helping the geriatric community age in place is very important to Melissa. Melissa is a firm believer that everyone should have the opportunity to receive medical/mental health services without judgement and be treated with dignity and respect.
