Jessica Bounds joined the Missouri Department of Mental Health in 2014 after working for various Missouri state departments since 2007. Ms. Bounds obtained valuable experience working for the Division of Youth Services, Children’s Division, the Department of Mental Health’s Investigations Unit, and the Division of Behavioral Health. Ms. Bounds has partnered with families, communities, behavioral health providers, court systems, and other governmental entities toward ensuring the safety, permanency, and well-being of Missourians. Currently, Ms. Bounds is the Director of Integrated Care with the Division of Behavioral Health. As the Director of Integrated Care Ms. Bounds oversees the management of the Missouri Community Mental Health Center Healthcare Home initiative, Disease Management Projects, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics, Substance Awareness Traffic Offender Program (SATOP), and other Justice Involved Treatment initiatives. Ms. Bounds continues to work closely with other state departments, and behavioral health providers to improve the access and quality of behavioral health services offered to Missouri citizens. She has received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Westminster College and a Master of Jurisprudence in Children’s Law and Policy from Loyola University.
