With over 38 years of experience in behavioral health, and foster care services. Camille Schraeder has built an impactful career marked by her deep commitment to community engagement and her advocacy for abused, neglected, and at-risk children, youth, and families. Her impact resonates at the local, state, and federal levels, where she has demonstrated unwavering dedication in advocating for more effective policies to address Californians’ needs. Currently holding the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Full Circle Health Network, a statewide Integrated Care Network to support behavioral health and community-based services as a subsidiary of the California Alliance of Child and Family Services. Camille leads a dynamic initiative to support the equitable, comprehensive delivery of services through community-based organizations to the children and families of California. Camille also sits on the Board of Directors of the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
In 1995, Camille founded Redwood Children’s Services, a transformative agency now known as Redwood Community Services. Throughout three Northern rural California counties, this agency touches the lives of countless individuals, providing community-based services, prevention initiatives, support for the homeless, mental health resources, foster care, and adoption services. She assumed the role of CEO, guiding the organization until 2019, leaving an indelible legacy.
Camille then founded and served as the Chief Fiscal/Program Officer with Redwood Quality Management/Anchor Health. This administrative services organization (ASO) pioneered strategies encompassing access management, quality assurance, network adequacy, care coordination, and optimization of Medi-Cal eligibility. Full circle Health Management was able to expand access and services to thousands of children, youth , and adults, and building capacity for dozens of Community Based Organizations who serve them.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Camille is the visionary behind the Potter Valley Youth and Community Center (PVYCC), where her volunteer leadership creates a safe haven for growth and development. Her pivotal involvement in the Children’s Action Committee (CAC) and the Policy Council on Children and Youth (PCCY) underscores her dedication to driving policy changes benefiting children, youth, and families.
Camille holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior, and a master’s degree in psychology. As a beacon of inspiration, Camille Schraeder's legacy is rooted in her own lived experience as a foster child and is characterized by her transformative influence on individuals, families, and communities alike.
