My name is Stephanie Vazquez (She, Her, Ella), and I am a passionate advocate for substance use prevention services and mental health awareness, with a special focus on the Latinx community. In 2022, I graduated from National Louis University with a degree in Criminal Justice, along with a minor in Human Services, equipping me with the knowledge to make a meaningful impact.
In my current role at the Kenneth Young Center, I concentrate on Substance Use Prevention Services and Mental Health Awareness Training. It's a privilege to engage with young adults and communities, emphasizing the importance of preventing underage drinking and substance use. I firmly believe that early education and awareness are powerful tools not only for our present youth but also for past generations and those yet to come.
My goal is to continue this work, raising awareness, and providing education to help shape a healthier and safer future for the next generation. I'm committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young adults and contributing to a society where substance use prevention and mental health are prioritized. Together, we can create a brighter and healthier future for our communities.
