Grant funding typically requires a specific target audience be defined, whether for individuals or organizations. This can make scheduling trainings difficult. This session will discuss ways to successfully target individuals and/or organizations, and tools for encouraging participation in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training. This presentation will review several approaches, and what has and has not worked. Attendees are encouraged to share their own successful tools during the discussion. Grant-funded projects are a great way to expand MHFA; this session aims to make the most of the funding available by reaching the largest audience.
Learning Objectives:
Discuss approaches to reaching target audiences for MHFA training.
Identify new tools to successfully schedule MHFA trainings.
Share successes and failures in approaches to broaden participants’ scheduling skills.
