As crisis services continue to expand throughout the nation, communities are challenged to make sense of emerging models for mental health/law enforcement collaboration. The National Council whitepaper “Quality Measurement in Crisis Services” outlines a practical “how-to” approach to help stakeholders think about, select, and use metrics relevant to their communities. This workshop will demonstrate how the National Council framework can help communities develop collaboration models that work for them. The presenters will use real-world examples from two very different communities and describe how they used data to evolve models tailored to their specific needs and the lessons learned.

  • List practical issues to consider when implementing crisis response and law enforcement collaboration programs in a given community.
