The Family Recovery Court model is a specialized Family Drug Court that offers three phases of treatment and is evaluated across multiple domains. This study examines the comprehensive mixed methods evaluation of outcomes across multiple domains. Results indicate that mental health and trauma play a significant role in the process and outcomes of this comprehensive treatment program. While this and other family drug courts have demonstrated a positive impact on substance use and child welfare outcomes, this evaluation adds to our understanding of the role of parent trauma in these processes.
