Special Project Manager Endeavor Health Services Buffalo, New York
Endeavor Health Services' Behavioral Health Team (BHT) is the source of 911 Crisis Co-Response for six local police departments in WNY. BHT works in collaboration with police departments to provide crisis de-escalation, higher level of care intervention, and post crisis follow-up. This model began in 2019, with the intention of expanding on the existing CIT program to include an embedded Mental Health Counselor. As the new program launched, Endeavor Health Services conducted a formative program evaluation of the BHT Co-Response's implementation and outcomes. This presentation will provide a description of the evaluation, including methodology, key findings, and recommendations.
