Kelsey Di Pirro has been a long-time student of trauma-informed practices and treatment modalities,

trauma from a harm reductionist lens. Kelsey has her clinical license in social work in both Michigan and
Illinois, is internationally certified as an Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor and is certified as an
Animal Assisted Social Worker. Having worked the entirety of her career in non-profit settings, she is
deeply invested in the application of SE to support organizational trauma healing to better support
marginalized communities and empower agencies to apply creative, low barrier approaches to meeting
client needs and gaps in care. SE has fundamentally changed Kelsey’s life, and her approaches to both
administrative work and her private practice.
