Rachael Rivera, LCSW is the Family Services and Project REACH Director at Access: Supports for Living. Mx. Rivera has 15 years experience in the field, including working with youth & families, people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, and persons with Serious Mental Illness/Serious Emotional Disturbances. They have earned post graduate certificates in Creative Arts Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Diversity and Inclusion and currently oversee a SAMHSA funded and Latinx population targeted Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitation Services (MHOTRS) program, the NYS Orange County Youth ACT Team, and DSS Contracted programs that provide preventive services to youth who are at risk of placement in foster care and/or of adjudication. Mx. Rivera serves as co-chair of Access Network's DEIB Committee and Program Representative for participation in the TIROES initiative. Mx. Rivera is co-creator of the organization’s Social Justice Training and a trainer for LGBTQ+ Cultural Competency & Improving LGBTQ+ Behavioral Healthcare.
