Bio Kris Noam
Krista Noam is the Assistant Vice President of Analytics and Innovation at Carelon Behavioral Health Connecticut. Dr. Noam has a Ph.D. in sociology with concentrations in race/ethnicity and immigration, and a Master of Science degree in social science research methods. Her education and her previous work experience managing the research and evaluation department of an outpatient clinic and directing the data department for a non-profit collective impact organization allow her to take a holistic approach to health. At Carelon BH CT, Dr. Noam directs a team of managers, analysts, and health research scientists, providing guidance and direction in enhancing Carelon BH CT’s analytical capabilities toward ever-increasing levels of sophistication and effectiveness. She also leads the analytics on several of the company’s major projects such as the Connecticut Housing and Engagement Supportive Services program, the Medication for Opioid Use Disorder performance target, Pharmacy Analysis, Behavioral Health Home model, and more . She has strong skills in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
