Kristin Woodlock, RN, MPA, brings her enduring commitment to caring for people with significant life challenges and running real programs to improve the choices and lives of people to her work as a consultant. Her experience ranges from delivery of direct care in hospitals to executive operations and policy work at the county government, state government and nonprofit agency levels. As both the executive deputy and acting commissioner of the New York State Office of Mental Health, Woodlock oversaw the largest public mental health system in the United States. Throughout her career in government, Woodlock worked extensively with nonprofit agencies, Federally Qualified Health Centers, hospitals and schools. She was a crisis CEO for Federation Employment & Guidance Services (FEGS) Health and Human Services, one of the country's largest nonprofits. FEGS delivered behavioral health, developmental disability, care coordination, eldercare, employment, housing, youth and Jewish community services. She led FEGS through an executive leadership change, financial crisis and Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Her work in hospitals, government and at a challenged nonprofit has honed her skills in design and implementation of services, building and sustaining leadership teams and in diagnostics for nonprofit agency's program and financial health. She consults with hospital systems, health care plans, health care providers and behavioral health providers across the country building service delivery for success – balancing heart, results and economics.
