MHFA and QPR Instructor with Mental Health America of Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio, Stacy is a Community Health Education Specialist, newspaper columnist, and speaker. His columns “Lessons from Life’s Road Map” and “Diary of a Sad, Fat Man” have helped deepen the public conversation around health for their readers. Stacy’s achievements include launching a public education campaign around a new Smokeless Tobacco Awareness Month in Arkansas and a Mental Health First Aid Resources App in Ohio.
Stacy’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Communications from Kent State University and a Master’s degree in Community Health Promotion from Cleveland State University. He received a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from Cornell University. Stacy has spent his career working with non-profit organizations across the country focusing on community health. He has dedicated his career to creating health education opportunities for those who may not have access. When he is not promoting mental health education, you can find Stacy at a local trivia night, watching a good movie, or engaging in nature photography.
