Hannah Sanborn currently serves as a Health Educator Consultant for the Florida Department of Health in Manatee County, and as the designated Minority Health Liaison for the County. Hannah is a Mental Health First Aid Coordinator and teen Mental Health First Aid Instructor, working to facilitate Youth, Adult, and teen courses within Manatee County. Beyond this, Hannah collaborates with community partners on the Minority Health Plan and serves as a liaison to the Youth Development Subcommittee under the Manatee Healthcare Alliance to facilitate the Community Health Improvement Plan. Hannah graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in public health in 2022. Most recently, her accomplishments include working to facilitate the Overdose Data to Action and Tobacco Free Florida grants and overseeing the Students Working Against Tobacco program in Manatee County. Hannah was the recipient of the Department of Health in Manatee County’s 2023 Employee of the Year Award after just over a year of service at the department.
