Erin Quinn is a Special Project Manager at Endeavor Health Services, a behavioral health agency located in Western New York. She manages the Mental Health Awareness Training (MHAT) grant awarded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to the agency. Erin has extensive experience in the health and human services field, and she is passionate about spreading vital information about mental health and suicide awareness. Her goal is to help recognize mental health warning signs, reduce stigma, and increase suicide prevention in the community. As Project Manager for the MHAT program, Erin has helped create a customizable training curriculum designed to meet the needs of many different audiences. The training is based on two evidence-based modules - Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR), providing a comprehensive and immersive experience for attendees. In addition to managing the MHAT grant, Erin is also involved in Quality Improvement projects in the Evaluation Department of her agency. Her primary focus there is on program and process improvement, which has led to the development of several new initiatives throughout the agency. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies from Medaille College and is close to achieving her Master of Science degree in Criminology with a focus on Human Behavior from Regis University.
