Amy Bartels joined the Mental Health First Aid Missouri team in January 2022 as a Project Coordinator for Community Outreach and is currently responsible for coordinating MHFA in schools and growing teen Mental Health First Aid statewide. Before joining MHFA Missouri, Amy worked for University of Missouri Extension as a Human Development Specialist where she taught a range of programs focused on lifespan, wellness, and nutrition.
Amy holds a Master of Education in Educational and Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri and is a certified instructor in Adult, Youth, and Teen Mental Health First Aid. In her spare time, Amy enjoys boating, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their three adult daughters and their families.
