Robin Trush has held leadership roles at state, managed care plans and delivery systems throughout her career. She led the technology and analytics department at a multi-site integrated primary care and behavioral health provider organization serving clients from birth through geriatrics. In each role, she has led transformational projects focused on serving individuals and families on Medicaid. This has included implementing an 1115 waiver, creating a BH/SUD crisis system of care and operationalizing an Arizona class-action lawsuit settlement agreement on behalf of children and families.
Additionally, Robin is skilled in guiding complex changes associated with technology platforms, electronic health records (EHR) and health information exchanges (HIE). Her success implementing large-scale system redesign is rooted in her ability to gain consensus among disparate stakeholders and execute a comprehensive change management process. During her tenure as an implementation Project Manager with an EHR vendor, she guided ambulatory providers through projects in over 20 states, with a 90% on-time project completion rate.
As a consultant she has supported organizations in defining technology needs, gaps and has provided innovative improvements to cross-functional organization processes. Her integrated health expertise also advised HIEs about sharing behavioral health and 42 CFR Part 2 compliant data sets, inclusive of informed patient consent.
