Jaymie Kahn-Rapp joined Family & Children’s Association (FCA) in July of 2017 as the Assistant Vice President of Addiction Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Services. During her tenure with FCA, Ms. Kahn-Rapp has doubled the size of the Addiction Treatment and Recovery Division and has successfully incorporated a person centered approach to care across all programs that fell under her. In 2023, the Addiction Prevention, Treatment and Recovery Division split into two new divisions: Harm Reduction & Recovery and Clinical Services. Having over 20 years working in the harm reduction field in New York City, Ms. Kahn-Rapp took on leadership of FCA’s new Harm Reduction & Recovery programs. With a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from Hofstra University and a Masters in Public Administration from Baruch College, as well as a License in Mental Health Counseling and Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling, Ms. Kahn-Rapp brings a diverse expertise in not-for-profit and healthcare management.
Ms. Kahn-Rapp has significant experience with developing and implementing quality management programming, and incorporates this experience when managing the multiple programs she oversees. Throughout her career, Ms. Kahn-Rapp has been very active in Medicaid Redesign initiatives and has brought her knowledge from these activities to her role at FCA , working collaboratively with her management team to stabilize and grow those programs at FCA.
In her role as Assistant Vice President of Harm Reduction & Recovery, Ms. Kahn-Rapp is excited to expand harm reduction services and education on Long Island and ensure all Long Islanders have access to multiple pathways to recovery!
