With 30 years of sustained recovery Jim works as the Director of Peer Services for Mental Health America of Dutchess County (MHA) and is a co-founder of the National Organization of Adult Addictions and Recovery.
As Director of Peer Services for MHA he is overseeing the increase of the Peer Programing staff from 2 to 40 certified peers. He has raised and administered over $1.5million in grant funding and directs all elements of the Peer Services Program.
Jim participates in the State Opioid Response Program in Dutchess County for MHA. The goal of this project is to increase collaboration with our IPA and other partners and build out and increase existing services within MHA of Dutchess.
Jim is also involved in the OASAS Part 820 licensing for Residential Redesign process for MHA Addiction Services, writing Policy and Procedures for Peer Services across the agency, providing training, coaching and education.
