Briana Scott is a PhD candidate in the Combined Program in Education and Psychology at the University of Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from St. Norbert College (De Pere, WI) in 2019 and her Master of Science degree in Psychology from University of Michigan in 2021. Briana has been working with the Prevention Research Collaborative (PRC) at the University of Michigan since 2018, and has worked as a research consultant for the Sandy Hook Promise (SHP) Foundation since 2020. Briana’s research interests include school safety, youth mental health, violence prevention, and equity and social justice in education. In her free time, Briana enjoys teaching yoga, spending time outdoors, and listening to live music.
