Allison Hunter-Jacobs, LCSW-C is the Deputy Director for Affiliated Sante’ Group – Eastern Shore Crisis Response Services. Allison earned her MSW in 2013 from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and has spent her entire career in Crisis Response. She began as a Mobile Crisis Clinician, became a Team Lead, Clinical Coordinator, and now Deputy Director.
Allison supervises social workers, professional counselors, and peer support specialists in the 9-county regional program. She is also responsible for the Intern Program for the agency, partnering with several Universities including Salisbury University, the University of Maryland, Loyola University, Delaware State University, and Capella University. Allison is passionate about educating and mentoring student interns and clinicians who are new to the field. Allison published a poster at the National Council Conference 2023 titled “You Reap What You Sow: Workforce Development through Investment in Interns.”
Additionally, Allison partners with other agencies in many community initiatives and workgroups. She is a Co-Chair for the Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) committee in Wicomico County. She also partnered with Salisbury Police Department to implement and supervise a Co-Responder program in the city.
