Presentation Description: With the ongoing workforce challenges and the looming retirement of senior leaders, building leadership capacity is a priority of organizations. While leadership development is critical, most organizations find there are competing clinical and administrative priorities. Implementing a speed mentoring program is advantageous as it reflects our culture of immediacy. This session offers insight into the creation of a speed mentoring program for leadership development while introducing potential topics of discussion (i.e. balancing needs between work and home; leading as a female, other underrepresented genders, and/or a person of color; and promoting a sense of community within the team).
