Overview of a collaborative, one-stop location within a rural community that includes not only CCBHC outpatient services, a community meeting center, support groups, and other community partners providing services meeting educational, employment, and health needs.
Benefits include reducing stigma within rural communities by exhibiting strong agency collaboration, easy access for those with limited resources, strong community advocation for ongoing growth/support, and importance of flexibility to adjust to ongoing needs.
Within this setting, Seven Counties Services (CCBHC) provides mental health and substances use disorder services to children and adults within a variety of atmospheres, including in-school, office, in-home, and via telehealth.
