Presentation Description: In our rural jurisdiction, where access to transportation and service(s) is limited. We created a successful Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program that allows individuals that come into contact with law enforcement to be connected or referred to resources within the jurisdiction. This program also includes a referral form for follow up that first responders can utilize for frequent callers or those that need to be connected to services.
