Medication assisted treatment for substance use disorders (SUD) has strong efficacy but remains underutilized, and moreso in rural areas (Harder et al., 2021). Compass created a community consortium to address SUD issues and strategically use new technology to solve many of the referral and access issues faced in our rural communities. Law enforcement partners made it clear to us, “If it doesn’t work every time, we won’t use it at all.” Thus, our goal was to create a quick, efficient, reliable process that worked for community partners and clients. Our presentation covers the creation, deployment, and feedback of our system.
