Harm Reduction Manager MATTERS - UBMD Emergency Medicine Buffalo, New York
Drug test strips are a valuable harm reduction tool that aid in reducing the negative consequences associated with drug use. MATTERS ships test strips to individuals and organizations across New York State free of charge. We are moving our efforts into New Jersey over the next several months and have plans to expand to more states in 2024. Since the program started, we have distributed 1.6 million test strips. This data shows that drug testing strips are a greatly needed harm reduction tool that should be available via service providers and discrete direct mail.
