This workshop will provide insights from project leaders (transit, security, behavioral health) and staff on best practices for outreach and engagement of individuals at the community level who utilize public transportation. Furthermore, we will share experiences with successful partnership development, as well as, implementing harm reduction and evidence-based practices, such as motivational interviewing.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify best practices for outreach and engagement of individuals at the community level.
  • Discuss experiences and ideas for successful partnership development with agencies outside of behavioral health.
  • Understand the importance of harm reduction and evidence-based practice implementation across service lines.
