Presentation Description: Crisis work is a difficult job on the mental health of staff members and it is important to measure and lessen the distress felt. Tactics include self-care by example, holiday events, team building activities, and activities away from the screen. Results have been seen through staff longevity, dedication to their employment, and well as staff satisfaction with their office culture. This is a way to take the unprofessional and make it professional, the silly/childish and bring it to a level where staff are able to let go and have fun so they can breathe and just be.
