This poster presentation is an introduction to INTERSECTIONS A Recovery Program Without Boundaries a Peer Delivered Self-Care Pathway to Recovery as related to Aging and Addiction. INTERSECTIONS is an innovative, peer delivered, modular self-care program developed by the National Organization of Adult Addictions and Recovery (NOAAR) and Mental Health America of Dutchess County. Peer facilitators use lived experience to meet individuals where they are at and bring hope and empowerment through these lifestyle changes. Interested attendees can be trained and certified to facilitate the INTERSECTIONS program in their own work.

Learning Objectives:

• Increase the content knowledge of wellness-based recovery strategies to enhance an aging populations recovery skill set. Includes: physical, social emotional, mental well-being and spiritual practices.
Increase working knowledge of the Holistic Triage™ paradigm. Particpants will be able to define recovery as a self-care pathway including exercise, nutrition, and mindfulness.
• After attending this workshop participants will be able to describe 3 ways that self-care is valuable to an aging population for achieving goals and gaining independence.
