This session will delve into the meaning and impact of social determinants of health (SDOH) and non-medical eligibility (NME) for Social Security Disability claims. SDOH questions can help start to paint the picture of individuals’ barriers to health, mental health and basic life. NME questions help determine if individuals are possibly eligible for Supplemental Security Income (SSI)/Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) services.
