This presentation combines recent research from nationwide data collection on mobile crisis teams (MCTs) as part of a robust crisis continuum of care, and findings from the 988 Contact Center and MCT Connections Summit held in December 2023 that highlight the importance of relationships in creating equitable access to alternative crisis response interventions. Dr. Matthew Goldman and Preston Looper will present outcomes from their National MCT Survey, focusing on gaps, opportunities and existing models of effectiveness in service provision across the country. This will follow with Vibrant’s Crisis Continuum department providing an overview of synthesized outcomes of the Summit.
