As adoption of tech-forward strategies expands, artificial intelligence literacy is quickly becoming mandatory for successful behavioral health professionals. By understanding the different types of AI, how the underlying technology works and the challenges it can help to address, leaders can navigate the technology landscape with more confidence and unlock new opportunities to improve team performance and wellbeing. This workshop will discuss principles of machine learning (ML) and natural language understanding (NLU); how the quality and accuracy of an AI-based solution is evaluated and managed; and data security, privacy and compliance considerations. It will also delve into how AI can solve workforce issues and improve care.
