All of us are baking the same yummy cake (MHFA trainings), so what makes our cake any different than others’? This workshop focuses on ideas and suggestions that organizations can integrate rather quickly to help increase community engagement. The presenter will share the goals of the program, how the goals helped focus outreach, outreach methods utilized, barriers and pitfalls of different strategies, and outreach effort success stories. Tools, ideas and suggestions will be shared to help organizations think about other ways to increase their connections within their community.

Learning Objectives:

Recognize the importance training goals and their impact on the MHFA outreach and training process.
Analyze current outreach strategies and determine areas for improvement.
Identify at least three possible strategies to increase and strengthen outreach efforts.
